Is this knife rare or not?
Could anyone give me some info on this knife? My grandfather gave it to me back in the day. I know its a double length or folding Bowie.
I do not know what the handle is made of or how old it is. The maker is Coricama.
Any info would be great.
Thanks

I don't know anything about the knife, but the company, Coltellerie Riunite di Caslino e di Maniago, is an Italian company in, obviously, Maniago Italy, that has been making knives since around 1887. They made knives for the Italian military during WWII. Maniago is where Fox, Maserin, and many other Italian brands are made.

I think there was a thread here in the last three weeks regarding a knife a lot like this one. Not sure of the brand. but I remember the pics. Very similar. They couldn't figure out what it was either.

Yes, the style traditionally has a sheath and is used as a small fixed blade for detail work when closed.
