Picked this up a while ago on eBay, condition is excellent. Just no clue what this is on the scales. Any ideas?

Looks like a stylized bull head.

I thought bull too, did a reverse image search that came up empty. It's an Imperial Ireland knife, no clue of the age and the blades look untouched. Thanks for the reply.

Yes possible too, I'm thinking it is a company logo of some sort. One of those things that just may never be figured out. Thanks for replying.

With zero knowledge, I'd say it looks to me like a cattle brand. Representing maybe a ranch.
