I have three watches and I just bought another. I plan on buying many many more in the coming months. Can you tell the watch bug has bit me. Second time in 3 years actually.

Anyway, right now I just toss them in a little cupboard on my desk. They are getting scratched up from each other and the keys. Can anyone tell me of solution as to where I can store them? I'd prefer some sort of soft cloth or velvent bag with indvidual watch spaces. Then I can roll it up and put it away?

Yes, I would put it neatly inside the bottom of my sock drawer but I am a college kid and my sock draweer slides out from under my bed. I don't want to bend over to get them out all the time.

So what are you guys using to store your watches?

My wrist? ;)

I've a mate whose got a myriad of different manuals and autos and bought (or had built) a ??'watch winding box' I think there very expensive cos they actually continually move the watch to keep the autos wound up. Maybe someone else knows more about them.

Yes they are about $250 each. I ended up getting a nice leather one for $75.00 shipped. It holds 8 so I will have to get another one in a year or so.

Good Evening All-

Automatic watches are best stored in a watchwinder. If that is not practical or possible, the next best choice is to store them in the original box in which they arrived from the jeweler.

Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't mean long term storage though. I wanted a way to access my watches quickly. I ended up getting a nice leather case.
