Any ideas?

Was visiting my elderly parents and they showed me what they were using to split some kindling wood. There are no markings that I can find, but they say they’ve had it for so long they don’t remember when or where they got it. That’s a Buck 303 for size comparison. Any guesses as to its identity?

Looks like an old cast steel head, so probably just had a paper label. Lots of them were made as a cheaper alternative back in the day, some of them work well enough.
