Just wondering.....
I have a 2 3/4" long, less than 1/4" thick, bartenders knife. Jigged black plastic scales, no shield, with very small brass tipped bolsters, which are one piece with the liners. (Shell knife?). Corkscrew, single blade with caplifter incorporated on the blade. Stamping reads:

CAMILLUS
CUTLERYCO
CAMILLUSNY
U.S.A.

Anyone have any information about approximate age or if this was/is a regular production piece?

Thanks,

Bill

I know this isn't a TACTICAL question and not as many people care, but........anything woud be much appreciated. :(

The stamping indicates that your knife was made 1946 or earlier. We stopped stamping the word "CUTLERY" on knives at the end of WWII. I will look through our records and see if there is any information about this knife.

Thanks much. That is a least a start. It is an interesting little knife that might also be called a Champagne pattern, or bottler opener knife. It does have just one blade, opposite the corkscrew.

Thanks again,

Bill
