I am looking for a fixed blade with about 2.5"~3" blade and less than $150. Any suggestions?

Benchmade makes a 2" s30v fixed blade with a nice carbon fiber handle, i believe its the model 210 activator, don't have one, i'd love to though. retails 140 but online you could get it for less than 100. hope that was helpful

Thanks a lot guys!
Now I need to make my decision among these choices... :D
Dose anyone have experience with the s30v gerber, how is it compared with the BM210?

The 210 is a tiny knife.
Way smaller than it appears in pics.
I don't know if you have handled one, but I suggest you see one for yourself before ordering.
Very small!
Cabela's offer several of the Buck fixed and folding knives in their Alaskan Guide Series, for well under $100.
They are truely awsome knives!
Paul Bos heat treated, and cryo quenched S30V.
One of the best deals on the market as far as I am concerned.
I have the 110, and have used it extensively.
It is on par with my Dozier customs as far as edge holding, and sharpness.
Paul Bos put some magic in these knives.

Yup, Paul Bos is a magician with steel. I have enough folders and now I only wish Buck had a small (sub 3") fixed blade in s30v :grumpy:
Any idea about the quality of gerber's heat-treatment on s30v? I have a fuzzy image about gerber that they make sloppy knives.

Cabela's now has a couple of S30V Gerbers that might fit your needs. Just go to cabelas.com and do a search on "S30V".
