What I have is an old, Simmons Hardware out of St. Louis MO. knife. Fixed blade that is 22-1/2" long with 16" of blade. It has S. H. CO. Little Giant St. Louis stamped on tang where a guard looks to have been butted up against it. It is a rat tail tang with a nut hammer welded to the end. The blade is hollow ground and is curved upward from the front to the back. I would try to post a pic but I have forgotten how. If any one can help in the department I would be glad to post some. Thanks all...

I can't believe I have not heard anything from any one on this, surely someone has some info or maybe identifying what it was? But, thanks all for looking

Looks like a Corn or Hedge knife. Simmons used "Little Giant" on lot of things, and hedge and corn knives aren't widely collected. Older ones were handled not unlike these scythe -
