Any info on these blades

These were given to me buy a good friend who's father passed away and left him several knives.
I was wondering if there is any info out there on them?

Looks like a couple of butcher's knives by Case Knife probably made in the 70's or 80's. That's a nice pair of knives right there!

I think the wider blade is called a scimitar and is used in butchering large pieces of animals.

Give those handles a light application of mineral oil. They'll look like new. Mineral oil is non toxic.
