just thanking about buying one,,,cold steel,outdoorsman,master tanto san maiIII,Fallkniven A1,SOG Gov agent,SOG Trident, hear john greco is going to stop making knife's ,mite get one of his too. Looking under 200.00 with best edge retenion. Knife i'll use every day hunting,fishing ,in the kitchen,etc.

I have the outdoorsman. It is a bit stout for kitchen use but otherwise a good knife.

Since you plan on using the knife in the kitchen, get a Spyderco Temperance...The VG-10 steel is excellent, and the knife is a GREAT slicer.
