This knife was a gift to my uncle from my father, when my uncle passed away in 2012 it found its way to me. It's a beautiful knife, one of my best quality fixed blades I own, but I don't know much about it or the maker.
On the blade it reads: Loveland, CO.
Barminski
It has a really nice mirror finish and hollow grind. I stupidly tried sharpening it a few years ago and gave it a few scratches...*sigh*...you live and you learn.

Any info on the knife or the maker? Don't care much about the value since its sentimental value is priceless, but would be cool to know though.

The maker is the late Tom Barminski. Some of his knives come up on Arizona Customs and other sites. There's a few old posts about him here too.

I did some more digging I had no idea he had passed away, what a shame, I'm happy to have one of his knives though.
Thanks for the info.

I own ten of Toms knife's every one was custom fit to my grip.personslly by Tom and I pick the style of blade and color pattern in the handles. Only two of them I use and they are both still doing what they should. One is my skinner and bring that I was a taxidermist for 25 years and I have hunted and trap for 47 years I can tell you that his knifes are the best investment in knifes I ever made . I also collect knives and put every one that's made for a hunting purpose to the test. His brother also was a knife maker and he also does good work. Tom's sheaths are truly amazing. nice and thick , sturdy and not one thread has every come loose. I met Tom back when I sold antler at the flea market here in Denver . The special friendship we had was formed by trading my antler for his knife work. I save him special stuff he couldn't find elsewhere. It's sad he has passed away his knifes are a treasuredpart of my memories of him.
