Any info on this Kutmaster

This one was given to me by an old guy approx 70 years old, looking to find out steel type and possible year manufactured. Thanks for any info.

I had the same knife issued to me in the USAF as a crew chief in the mid 60's, my guess 1095 steel, still use it in my workshop.

Awesome...I was hoping it was 1095. I had also guessed it was from the 60's-70's and also issued to him from his stint in the Coast Guard. Thanks for the info, and a big THANK YOU for your service Sir.
