I’ve got an older Uncle Henry 127UH, and I’ve not seen handles like this before. Is this just something I’ve missed? Can any of you more knowledgeable folks help me out some?

The serial # on the liner indicates early production. This pattern was introduced in 1968. Serial # implies around 1976 manufacture date I think.

The wood handles are a later custom addition. At some point in the last 40 years new handles were put on. Those rivets (?) just look wrong from a Schrade factory standpoint. That's my best guess.

Here's a link to some golden info: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/help-identity-and-date-schrade-127uh-with-serial.1246598/
