I have seen these knives in brown boxes, and also a set of two knives in a Display case.
The top of the display case has,
“SCHRADE CUT. CO. BICENTENNAL WHITTLERS – COMMEMORATING – KENTUCKY AND TENNESSEE” (PRINTED IN GOLD.)
Blades are stamped: “SCHRADE – CUT CO. – WALDEN. NY.”

Yeah. Now you need to find it's Tennessee mate! Whittler patterns and were made for Parker Frost and are limited editions of 3,000 each. Circa 1976 if I remember correctly.

Nice! What is the text on the cloth lining of the cover?

Same as the top of the case; “SCHRADE CUT. CO. BICENTENNAL WHITTLERS – COMMEMORATING – KENTUCKY AND TENNESSEE” (PRINTED IN GOLD.)
Numbers stamped on the bolsters "1713" I have had them for some years. One comes up on ebay from time to time... Ken

You know by now that the Schrade Cut Co tang marking was a revival of the mark due to the date of issue. They are a nice set. And Parker Frost was a short-lived partnership. As was their relationship with their supplier, Albert Baer / Schrade.

I have some of the Parker Frost knives, don't know much about the older Schrade knives with the "Cut Co" stamping.
I started collecting Schrde in 1973 with an 881, that I still use today.
