I was at the BAKCA show today and I saw this sharpener:

The people at the table were kind enough to touch up one of my EDCs and they did it very quickly. I was pretty impressed with this sharpener. The only issue was that the sharpener scratched other parts of the blade other than the edge when the guy sharpened it. So although it scratched up the finish on my knife, it sharpened it very quickly and effectively. I'm not too concerned about the scratches on my knife, as it's my beater knife, but I would be a little worried about using it on a more expensive knife and on knives that have coating. I'm wondering if this scratching is something that can't be avoided or if this was just a sloppy job done by the guy who sharpened my knife. So any comments on this? How does it compare to some of the other sharpening systems?
