Any interest in a Utah campout this spring/summer?

There seems to be a growing number of Becker Heads from Utah, so I was wonder if you all wanted to plan a little campout here. We could do a dutch oven dinner, play with knives, chat, maybe come up with some kind of contest and so on. I'd like to do the campout on Public land, either National Forest or BLM, but not close to a campsite. That way we can cut lots of dead wood and play with guns and bows.

So what say you Utah Beckerheads and knife lovers?

I'm okay with anywhere in Utah as long as I can borrow a car/truck to get there.

I sometimes wonder the same thing. People should know that it's not scarry here, we have tons of public land and we are a very gun friendly state. I'm planning to bring some fire arms to this shin dig, if it's in the right areas.

Colorado and Utah are awesome! You should come scope out a place while camping with us. I bet we can hook you.

By the way, who's up for Dutch Oven Chili or BBQ'd Chicken? I've got the gear and some great recipies.

Don't think I need to be hooked, already love the nature out there. All the photos I've seen have made Colorado out to be an amazing place. Hoping to find a greener area (ie. more forests/tress/plant life). Another plus of that area is the variety of environments. :thumbup:

Used to live in Southern Cali and you couldn't pay me to move back now.

Normally I make Pan Fried Corn bread with the Chili. Dutch Oven Potatoes goes with the Chicken. I also make Chicken soup, Beef stew, Corned Beef and Cabbage stew and Roast Beast in the Dutch oven. Hoping to make/learn some new recipes this spring and summer.

The food you mentioned above sounds good as is. Seems if I were to go, this would be one hell of a road trip for me. I guess I could fly with all my knives and gear though. Not sure if it is or a :barf:.

Although I'm in Colorado, it isn't that far to drive to Utah! I might be able to squeak out a small weekender if school/work/family obligations permit! Keep me posted!!
