Any interest in an RC-4 pass around?

If there is some interest here from forumites who can meet the pass around rules in that subforum, I'll pass around my RC-4s with the basic sheath.

Here is the teaser:

Anything goes for the five days you can have it. Baton it through a Jeep. Pry a tree until it falls over at the root. Kill a javelina with it lashed to a stick and then carve a spit.

I don't care what you do with it, but you have to fully describe its condition as received and what EXACTLY you did with it, even if it was just to cut printer paper.

Beat the living hell out of it if that's your game. Use it like you stole it--there's just one condition:

NO RE-PROFILING. The original sharpening angle must be maintained.

Anyone interested?

I'm in.....

Here's what I will do. I will keep this thread "available" until the end of the month. Any number of eligible people can sign up. On April 30 at 12:00 PM PST, I will "close" this thread with a post and we will adjourn to the pass around forum to formalize this.

Then I will pick a number between 1-100. Interested members will post in the subforum and pick a number. At noon PST on May 5 that list will be closed, the number revealed, and the knife passed around in the order from the numerically closest to the furthest.

The knife must be shipped between participants with $120.00 insurance on it, for my hassle if it gets lost or stolen. Anyone who will not do this will be eternally shamed here as a cheapskate.

If anyone can think of any useful mods to the terms of the proposed pass around, post them here before the April deadline passes.

Nice offer, Boats. If we can assist on this in anyway just let us know.

Jeff

Thanks for the offer of assistance. Depending on the crowd we draw, you might have to give this blade some post pass around spa treatment.:D

If it draws a big crowd and we need an extra one to put in the hands of users then let me know and we'll have Shon Rowen ship one to you direct since you're leading the charge on this deal ;). Right now we have the partially serrated version in stock. The plain edge are sold but more are going through the shop as we speak.

Sorry, but you can't be in. Forum rules are that one has to have been a member of BF.c for at least six months prior to participating in a pass around.

I'm in if there's still space in the Passaround.

Edited: Wait. I just read the rules. That's too damn complicated. Usually, it's just the first ten or so guys who shout "I'm in." :p :D

I'll just check them out at Blade. Thanks for offering to do this one though.

I'm not trying to be complicated. I wanted to ensure as many RAT fans as possible would get the jump, which is why it is here first, and then will move. I don't want a five or ten guy limit if there is more interest than that.
