Any interest in something like this?

Guys, I am not trying to advertise, so hopefully you won't take it that way... I have to order some materials and I was playing with the idea of making a run of knives and wanted to see if there was interest in it. All the details and a drawing of the style of knife are at:

With the relatively unfinished appearance, I was thinking I could keep the price to around $50 with a multicarry Concealex sheath if there is enough interest involved. This is about $30 cheaper than I would sell the same knife with my usual finish, which talkes forever to do. Anyway, if you think you'd be interested in something like that, then email me or post here. If not, then let me know why if you want and thanks for taking the time to look! One last thing...I am reviewing an AWESOME forged piece by Bladeforums member Rotor and should have something for you to read next week. The knife is simply incredible and I can't wait to write it up. Look for it in a week or so...

Just to let folks know, I had the good Doctor put new scales on my Chavaar style mini fang. He did an excellent job. Based on my experience I can highly recomend his work.

Chiro, I like the looks of it. I like small integrals like that as neck knives, and they make excellent little field blades. I'm sure you'd have no trouble seeling a few of those. Make the sheath with a pocket clip as well, and I'll take the first one!

I would take one! I am looking for a small hand made neck knife!

Well, it seems like there are at least 4-5 people interested at the moment, so I guess I'll order a bit extra steel and do them up. If you absolutely want to be on a waiting list for one or something, send me an email because I am keeping a file on my computer. Otherwise, I'll post a note here when they're done (within 4 weeks, probably not earlier than 2) and the ones that aren't spoken for will be first-come-first-serve. I will probably do a few different blade styles to keep it interesting.

Not trying to mislead you, but the mill finish rusts pretty easily. The thing is that steel wool will remove it easily and it doesn't really damage the steel. Once I start making them up I'll see if I can put enough of a finish on them to get the hamon, temper line to show up without jacking the price higher. We shall see, fellas!
