I got a Wayne Goddard as they were being closed out. the one with the micarta handle. I think the blade is gin1. Just wondered if it has appreciated any..thanks in advance, rob
I do not want to sell it at this time. Some say the handle is too thin to be strong enough for serious use, but the blade cuts like nothing else in my collection. the old tee shirts I use as patches seem to just fall away from the blade at the slightest touch. I also like the thickness of the blade, but wish it was plain edged, instead of serrated. anyway, thanks again, rob19

I think I paid about $60.-$65. for it.

I have a Goddard L.W. I also bought one for my Dad, although he'll probably never carry it. I really like the feel and handling, and someday I'll get the micarta large Goddard. Is it tip-down? I think it is. I'd still like one, though.

The L.W. FRN version could be a little thicker at the pivot, as it doesn't seem as robust as my old plastic clip Enduras.

Safety Guy: You got that right. The Goddard is definately tip down. I had to go and look, to make sure, though! Also, the blade material is G-2.It was made in Seki City. I have not seen any micarta handled large Wayne Goddards around, lately. Thanks for responding about the Goddard. Anyway, if you are a fan of tip up carry, I bet you like the Delica. I know I do. take care, rob
p.s. I find your handle rather interesting as I was Safety Captain at a Postal Facility. Not really as scary as it sounds, though I did put on an informative ( and hilarious ) self-protection safety talk. I turned my mailman hat backwords, put on some shades, and put on my gloves, too. It was fun to "attack the boss". Too bad I got the worst of it as I taught her to well. sorry off topic, take care, Safety Guy, rdogout
