Any issues with ATS34 used in the Buck Strider Solution?

I just picked up a new Buck Strider Solution, fixed blade. I don't have it yet. It should arrive early next week. I was in the market for a sturdy, fixed blade with a blade length of less than 5 inches. I have read Cliff Stamps' review of the knife and have some concern about the edge brittleness he found. I read that there were some problems with ATS34 a few years ago. The ATS34 in the B/S Solution was heat treated by Paul Bos, I figured it there were problems he would have picked them up. What's the thought about this here on the forum?
Thanks

Take anything that Cliff says, with a very large grain of salt.

I haven't heard of any problems with that steel as treated by Paul Bos.

I've owned 2 of them and they are tough as nails. Excellent knife for the money...

Very tough and durable knives - no worries with the Solution.
(It will be YOUR Solution for a sturdy fixed bladed knife...)

Regards,
Mike
