Any KA-BAR trad designs with narrow pen blades?

Lookin' to pick up a trad-design folder. Want at least one blade to be a narrow 'pen' blade. Got big mitts so would like the overall handle to be longish. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Other than the Stockman model, the The Trapper is probably as close as you gonna get, with a Kabar slipjoint. They also have this in a lock back. OAL is 6 7/8".

Tons of good old KA-BAR, Union Cut. Co., Union Razor, Tidioute stuff on eBay. Cheap too. Well sometimes. I have picked up great old original stuff often for very good prices especially on the little stuff. That's if you like old original stuff. If not, ignore everything I have said.

I gotta tell ya, this CS stockman pattern is about the best looking stockman I've ever seen. Add the Kabar touch to it and I'm sold. Can somebody tell me why I don't own one yet?

Not sure. The Rams horn is awesome. I actually prefer the Reclaimed American Chestnut. It comes from a barn. Seriously, a barn that had some support beams over 40' long, cut on 24"x24" dimensions. Gotta love that.

There will be a contest that Spark and BFC will be putting on soon, that will give folks that go Platinum, a chance to win this very knife.

I also like the history of the Chestnut, and the fact that the only American Chestnut we possibly ever see, is going to be reclaimed.

Maybe I'll downgrade my membership and re-up just for a chance. Or maybe I'll just buy the damn knife.

Eh, just buy it, or hang back until I start a contest for one. I plan on giving away at least one of every knife Kabar makes. Dogs Head's included. Or just buy it.
