I have a kabar fixed blade I found when cleaning out my father in law's house.IT could have been his or his father's so I do not know how old a knife this is.The only markings on the knife are kabar and looks like olean ny. It is a fixed blade about 10 5/8 from point to end of handle with a nicley polished blade. Thanks in advance for any info

i'm not an expert, but a fan of Ka-Bars...
does it have an original sheath with it? any markings on the guard by chance? old Ka-Bars rock! if you could post a pic if possible it could help.
