Think it's worth it?

I like the knife so much I dislike you intensely for reminding me to look at it again! :p

I'm one of the S*E*B*E*N*Z*A guys. I think the knife is worth it. I do like the Tighe design and appreciate the quality of Klotzli's workmanship. I also see it as big enough to be a useful EDC with a versatile blade shape.

You could probably find it cheaper or less expensive shall we say somewhere else. That being said I think the knife is definetly worth every penny. Klotzli is noted for there simple, functional yet extremely well made knives. keepem sharp

Living in Germany, I generally like Kloltzlis a lot. I do own 4 right now and think they build decent gent linerlocks.
With the new Titghe buttonlock though I had very bad experience. I ordered mine couple of months ago directly from Klotzli Switzerland and got the knife delivered quickly and without problems.. After carriing it for a week or so, it became harder and harder to open. I found that the tangramp was too coarse und started wearing on the button. Lubrication made things worse and the button got stuck a couple of times while depressing it. At the end it finally becamme stuck and wouldn`t come back up.
I think that what usually works well with a linerlock, i.e. the galling of the ti-liner against the steel ramp of the blade, does not work for the steelbutton and the tit-scales of this particular model.
Another German buyer of the same knife reported similar problems with his here on the German messerfoum.net.
I called Klotzli and informed them about the problem and they offered exchange of the knife. Since then delivery of this model here in Germany seems to be on hold and I doubt that the problem will be solved as long as they use the same construction or choice of handle material.

You will not be disappointed with Klotzli. I have carried for them years, I use them under harsh conditions and strongly recommend them.

That's the best looking factory folder I've seen in quite a long time. If I can quote Charlton Heston from "Planet of the Apes" here; "Damn You!" for making me look at it again. :)

Do I think it's worth what they're charging for it? No, or I'd be owning one right now.

I think the post from mactitan is very interesting, though.

Should be looked into before buying IMO...although A.G. Russell will
stand behind whatever they sell.
