Living in Germany, I generally like Kloltzlis a lot. I do own 4 right now and think they build decent gent linerlocks.
With the new Titghe buttonlock though I had very bad experience. I ordered mine couple of months ago directly from Klotzli Switzerland and got the knife delivered quickly and without problems.. After carriing it for a week or so, it became harder and harder to open. I found that the tangramp was too coarse und started wearing on the button. Lubrication made things worse and the button got stuck a couple of times while depressing it. At the end it finally becamme stuck and wouldn`t come back up.
I think that what usually works well with a linerlock, i.e. the galling of the ti-liner against the steel ramp of the blade, does not work for the steelbutton and the tit-scales of this particular model.
Another German buyer of the same knife reported similar problems with his here on the German messerfoum.net.
I called Klotzli and informed them about the problem and they offered exchange of the knife. Since then delivery of this model here in Germany seems to be on hold and I doubt that the problem will be solved as long as they use the same construction or choice of handle material.
