I'm headed to Hot Springs Village over the July 4th weekend. We're going to visit my wife's parents and grandparents. They're great folks, but don't have much going on in the way of entertainment for a knifemaker. Are there any makers or collectors in that area that I could buy a cup of coffee or something? I'd love to meet some more knife people if I could.

Knifemakers.....in Arkansas...?.....you could just yell when you get there, and raise a couple......

OR you could go to the ABS website and check which members are from near there...

I'll be there that same weekend and was hoping to find members familiar with the place who can recommend things

I would recommend a trip to Little Rock to the Historic Arkansas Museum. There is a great display of of historic knives and Lin Rhea MS works there so a visit with him is a possibility. If you were in the area on the 11th there is the knife makers meeting at Uncle Al's in DeQueen.

Hi Jason. I'll be working all throughout the week of the 4th at the museum. If you would like to have coffee on Friday morning, Chris and I meet up at 6:00 am in Bryant, not too far away from the village. Lin

Bro, if you don't do this, I'll disown you.

Shared a nice breakfast with Lin and Chris this morning. Mug shot to follow when I get back to a computer.
