So I started modifying a Zero Tolerance 0301. I've ground the spine to a fully drop point (like the ZT 0360), and I have started grinding the main bevels to make this FFG. It it's coming along nicely, however, I have noticed from the factory the plunge grind at the sharpening choil is ground deeper on one side. I have been doing fine so far with hand sanding (several hours worth) and it looks good so far, but I have reached a point where it will take a belt sander or the like to even out the grinds on each side without spending hours sanding and buying more sand paper.
Are there any experienced knife makers willing to help me out? It's do or die at this point (unless I pay ZT to re-blade it), and I have put a lot of work into this with very limited tools. I love how it's turning out, but I feel I need to reach out to a professional to even out the grinds.
Let me know please! Pm or email me. I am not asking for free help, I will GLADLY pay for a professionals help.
