Any knife stores in New Jersey / New York area?

Are there any knives stores in New Jersey / New York City area? I’m interested in getting some Damascus fixed blade knives but barely any stores in my area. I live near Edison New Jersey. Please let me know if there are any stores

Are you looking for a specific brand of knives Spyderco, Benchmade, etc? Typically they have dealer locators on there websites. Check whichever brand of knives you are interested in. They should have a store locator to see if there is a dealer nearby.
 
Not really looking for a specific brand! Just in general want to visit a store where I might Like some Damascus fixed blade knives.
 
I'd recommend waiting for the New York Custom Knife Show (NYCKS) in Jersey City. Probably your best bet for finding a wide selection of quality options.

I would recommend researching which makers/dealers are reputable before going. Lots of quality stuff, but if it's like other shows I've been to, there will also be dealers selling overpriced low quality crap.
 
Mastersmiths, you might hear the name but it's totally gone now. So don't go looking for it :)

1) Paragon at Union Square.

2) Korin is interesting for Chef and kitchen goods -

3) Westpfal might be worth a look if close, just because it's one of NY's last remaining cutlery places -

4) J B Prince has some decent Chef knives, and nice kitchenware -

Those are the only places in the city proper that might be of interest to knife people, minus museums, etc..... There might be places left on Long Island, but it's a trek, and the stores are spread out.

There is a store called CutleryMania in Fairfield,NJ which has a nice selection of Benchmade,Spyderco, ZT, SwissArmy Chris Reeve and others that is definitely worth checking out.

^^^^^^^^ THIS!!!! Cutlery Mania is an excellent store! Friendly personal service, and a great selection of knives. My favorite place to buy blades. :thumbsup:

I went to Korain couple weeks ago they carry a nice collection of chef knives but they don’t carry much in Damascus.

Definitely going to visit Paragon !

Cutlery mania is not to far from where I live so definitely going to visit that also
