Any knifemakers in Bay Area?

Is there any knife makers in Bay Area? I am looking for someone who will be willing to share his knowledge with a newbie.
I made a couple of knives but not very satisfied with them and feel that learning from someone more experienced might help a lot.

I know about BAKCA they meet every second Thirsday at 7:30PM. Unfortunatly my job won't allow me to be there and I can't take a day off to go there.
