I need a sheath made for a custom knife that I really really don't want to ship. Basically Giles/Lincoln counties TN and Limestone/Madison counties in AL (aka Huntsville AL).

I want local so i don't have to ship the knife (USPS, UPS, Fed Ex etc.). i dont' hardly trust them with a $20 Amazon order; i sure a sheck won't give them my ~$300 knife. Plus, I want to see the leathermaker's work first hand as a side benefit.

Basic simple pouch style sheath, left-handed, for this knife:

Giving them the knife isn't the problem - shipping it is. If Fedex can fork up a $20 Spam shipment, then there is no way in heck I'm going to risk my new custom knife.

I thought that was obvious in my first post. Apparently not; I'll edit to make it clearer.

ETA: I've been through that thread a couple times. Only 15 posts. Most don't post where they're located, their website may or may not give a location. AZWelke is obvious, both because of the name but also because I got my Becker Necker sheath from him years ago.

Some go to dead end websites (BuyBrownholsters and Mashcats); it's an old thread.
