Any lefties out there using the Mantra?

Seems like a great combination of size, features, function and steel on this one, but the is right handed frame lock difficult for lefties to operate? The pocket clip is reversible so maybe (I'm hoping anyway) they tweaked the design enough to make it work for the left handed.

In a word, yes. I am a lefty and the Mantra 1 works as well as any right handed frame lock I have used.

I'll post some pics and add more detail later if requested as I'm out and about now.

It's worth it as a lefty, don't miss out on this great knife simply because you're cooler than the majority of the population

I haven't experienced the Mantra yet but in general frame locks aren't a problem for lefties. Only the Bradley original did I have an impossible time easily closing that frame lock. Too bad...other than that, a great knife.

The only frame lock I've used was a lefty model Sebenza. Decided I prefer the overall aesthetic and design philosophy of Spyderco, but never tried to manipulate any of the Spyderco frame locks left handed.

So nothing is going to be as intuitive or lefty friendly as a lefty Sebenza or Lefty Millie but it's really not s big deal and does not present an obstacle.

The hole is perfectly accessible for lefty thumb opening

For closing, the two best methods I have found are as follows. My preferred method of using my pointer finger to disengage the lock with my thumb in the hole

Then using your thumb to bring the blade to the closed position with the speed and movement controlled the whole way

The other way I like is to use the thumb to sweep across the face of the lock, disengaging the lock bar and using your pointer finger to push the spine of the blade so the flipper tab rests on your thumbnail.

Then just close it like any other lock

All this is pretty instinctual once you start using regular frame locks. It's really not hard and I can open and close a righty framelock with my left hand as quickly and confidently as any other lock.

I have no problem with left handed manipulation of frame locks. My Mantra comes Saturday, but until then I'm rocking the Dice with no problem.
