I'd be interested to hear how this lock style is holding up after a few months . . .preferably from someone who has used it pretty hard!
THANKS!

I've been using one a lot since the beginning of the year, the knife is great! the lock is as smooth & perfect as the day i got it. very strong & positive. ive used it to cut rope & other things, not really heavy cutting, but there should be no problems with it. they have upgraded the knife, too, they now have metal circular front disks instead of plastic, like the real grand hawk dog, makes it that much nicer. the pocket clip is great, too, it doesnt get in the way if your carrying something big, so if something rubs on it, nothing really happens to it. i carried it every day for about 3 months, then just once or twice a week. its a real nice knife for the money, & the best opening hole i have used. fun to play with the lock, too.

I had been carrying mine as an EDC for a while and I've used it alot. It's held a good edge too, I've only had to sharpen it once so far. Other than a few scratches/scuffs on the blade and a few dings in the handle as a result of dropping the knife, it's held up excellently. Solid lockup just like the first day I got it.

Do you think those disk can be sent away for, or that existing D.O.G.s can be sent in to be "upgraded"?
