Any love for ak-47 fixed

Just picked this up. Like the look and wanted a fixed blade in 3v. Not sure about the handle. Don't like it right now but maybe it will grow on me after some use. Also thinking about removing the inner finger bump (what's it called?) and making some more contoured micarta scales for it.

Any body modded this knife before?

I really thought I would love this knife when I picked one up about a year ago. I hated it also, and immediately returned it. The edge wasn't very good either. It just looked cheap and didn't seem super functional. The handle was not comfortable at all. The blade had a tasteless dull tinge to it. Don't miss it one bit.

Never seen one in my country unfortunately, but I have the XHP folder. Awesome knife. I suppose the fixed one is just as badass.

Better but still funky. Maybe I’ll make some new scales that are twice as thick as the thin ones on. Or maybe I’ll stash it away somewhere and forget about it.

I have done that. Never used or liked some knives. I personally don't like that knife. No love for the ak47 fixed here;)

I don't get all the hate this knife gets. It's a full tang knife, has a generous 5.5" Cpm 3v blade, a nice DLC finished blade,G10 handles, functional secure x sheath and all priced competitively in the low $100 price point.....A Steel of a Deal

All valid points on paper that's why I bought it in the first place. At least for me and my hands the handle ruins the knife.

Stonewash finish no DLC. G10 scales are too thin for me.

On paper it looks amazing. As in, potentially the best combat / field knife bargain of all time. But I have never actually held one so who knows.

The AK47 folder is my favorite 3.5" beater.
