Any of u guys use the new brown mules? I got tha medium version. It's made in Italy and just wondering if they are good work knives?

I'll try to get sum up Tamar. This is a Robert klaas medium brown mule. It's basically a soddie with wood handles. I like the carbon blades but every other one I ever saw was made in Germany. It cost bout 14$ which for tha fit and finish it has it's perfect. Sum of my friends had tha kissing cranes and they loved them and they took a nasty edge.

I like mine a great deal. The Brown mules are a bit rough IMO in their regards to F&F but still it's an attribute I associate with Sodbusters in general. The carbon steel is of lesser wear resistance, however as others have stated it's a joy to sharpen and can take a quite aggresive edge. All in all money considered the Brown mules are a decent buy, but aren't super clean by any means. I've enjoyed mine and made it a regular in my EDC rotation.

Thanks for the reply! I got the 4 1/8 version which is a lil large for my preferance. I use tha heck out of my knives from cuttin twine, cuttin bulls, toppin tobacco, stripping wire, and cuttin young cedars and briars out of fence rows. I was jus wondering how they held up? I mean I destroyed a spyderco
In a few months. But the fit and finish on mine is excellent for tha price.

I got my large mule on the river as well, but for the medium size with the wood handle I had to go to the bay.

Gettin ready to remodify my mule. Goin to sand down and make the handles thinner and change tha color and do sum blade work as well. I have sum elk horn slabs and if I have enough I'll put them on there.
