Any love for the BöKER Hitman

Seemingly I've expanded my benchmade knives collection a bit much considering I was really looking for a nice framelock flipper knife to start with

I've been eyeing out the BöKER hitman in G10 for a while but there are very few reviews or videos anywhere and I'm hoping someone here has some first hand experience with it. The good the bad and the ugly as some would say!! Wink wink.

It actually reminds me of a almost nicer looking ADV hummer and also in a more manageable size so quite an interesting knife I'd say.

I have the G10 version with D2 blade.

It flips open very well.

I haven't carried it to work yet because of the cold weather.

(I don't like carrying metal handles during cold weather.)

The main negative detail to be aware of is the G10 handle scale smells really bad/really strong.

To fix that, I soaked it in a hydro-sonic cleaning tank for a bit. Now it is much better.

Thank you for that, never experienced a smelly scale but can imagine the glues they use wouldnt be the most pleasant.

Does it feel like an $80 dollar knife? The bladehq videos look promising but there is a serious lack of other reviews that would normally be available.

It is a solid knife—not flimsy at all.

I also plan on getting some other Boker Plus knives in the near future after not buying any for the past few years.

I've always felt boker makes great knives for their plus series. Their ti locks are always sticky though.
