They are nearly as much fun to mod as the Cold Steel Hawks, and they only cost about 1/2 as much!

By the way, this may not be the right forum for shovels.....but I didn't see a shovel forum!
 
Now that's just plain awesome. I never thought of modding a shovel into art like that before.

Its a fun tool. It really can hack some wood up also.

I cleaned up the burr on a friends and it would push cut paper easily. Step aside scissors!
 
Beautiful work! I've got one that I keep in my trunk in case the car gets stuck in snow or mud. Handy thing to have for not much scratch.
 
That does it, I need to get me a Cold Steel shovel.

I saw the shovel forum, even participate in it, it just never occurred to me that somebody would take a highly utilitarian item like a shovel and heavily modify it into a piece of art. You would hear about soldiers modifying their weapons with etchings and new handles, but for whatever reason the E-tools seemed to escape such.
 
That is really nice work I've never been much on embellishing my tools but that is very interesting.
