I can't seem to find a whole lot if info out there on the Emerson Endeavor, sort of looks like a sleeper hit to me; I'm debating getting one while I still can.

Any owners out there that can chime in one way or the other? Thanks!

No experience, but I do think that they would be a good smaller carry, but actually I think I like the looks of the Traveler even better.

Absolutely! I have an Endeavor and two Travelers. The E is my most carried Emerson. G10, full liners, solid feel, pointy tip, straight cutting edge... it's a perfect EDC knife for the things I cut. If you want one, I'd get it now. The Endeavor & Traveler models are DC'd, IIRC.

Yo J Roc I heard you got caught masturbating. Kidding aside I have an Endeavor and Traveler both SF. They are good knives and I really like the blade shape but don't carry them much. Not sure why since the blade is about perfect for just about anything. I would recommend either if you like the design especially since they are discontinued, but would recommend a 7A over either. Pick one up while you can.

Thanks...I think I'll end up getting both while I still can as they both seem to be really practical.

Either of you find the Traveller to be too small?

Steely, I was gettin' changed! ;)

The Traveler is perfect for a sub-3" blade when that's what you need. I have both and I do carry the Endeavor more, but when I need a smaller folder that's very stout and capable, the Traveler's the ticket. I've been carrying the Traveler in place of my small Sebenza because the Traveler is more ergonomic (I really hate that word, sounds so stinkin' "modern")... the Traveler fits my hand better and is easier to hold on to in use. I can get a 4-finger grip on my Travelers with my medium-to-large hands (3.5" across the palm, 7.7" wrist to index finger tip). So when I'd carry a small Seb or PT, the Traveler gets the nod now. If your familiar with micro-Commanders, the Traveler is just a tad shorter in the handle. Blade length is almost exactly the same. Blade profile differences give the Traveler a pointer tip and a straight edge. It also seems a bit lighter to me. It really is a folder that you could pull and use in public without setting off the folks who want everything to be rounded and dull.

So, just an update that I ended up getting both the Endeavor and Traveler! :)

Both are awesome, if I had to pick one I'd say...get both! ;)
