I have to admit that when my Jester was first delivered I was greatly underwhelmed. For one thing the knife was smaller than I expected. Yeah, I had read the specs but for the money this thing was tiny! I just wasn't in love.
Skip forward almost a year, during which time I've picked it up and played with it more times than I can count. It's now seen quite a bit of pocket time and I have to admit this thing is growing on me each day. The G10 scales are great, good lockup, no blade play, and I love the ergonomics of the grip as well as the jimping on the end of the curved blade. For detail work or fine controlled cuts the Jester simply can't be beat.
Sure, it will never take the place of my PM as my primary EDC but this is a great little knife that doesn't get as much attention as it deserves. It's one of Spyderco's sleepers.
