Any love for the Jester?

I have to admit that when my Jester was first delivered I was greatly underwhelmed. For one thing the knife was smaller than I expected. Yeah, I had read the specs but for the money this thing was tiny! I just wasn't in love.

Skip forward almost a year, during which time I've picked it up and played with it more times than I can count. It's now seen quite a bit of pocket time and I have to admit this thing is growing on me each day. The G10 scales are great, good lockup, no blade play, and I love the ergonomics of the grip as well as the jimping on the end of the curved blade. For detail work or fine controlled cuts the Jester simply can't be beat.

Sure, it will never take the place of my PM as my primary EDC but this is a great little knife that doesn't get as much attention as it deserves. It's one of Spyderco's sleepers.

I've had a burgundy Micarta Jester on my key ring for over ten years, and I wish they'd do another run of them.

I'd love to have a Jester. I think they are awesome. They sell for a bit more than I can afford to splurge but I could see one being my left pocket knife for many years. They have that Ladybug type charm that defines a knife and makes a model timeless.....one day.

I have one on my keychain as well, such a great little knife. The jimping on the front of the knife is so useful for precision work

And I know I can't be the only one who wants a BRG ZDP Jester :D

I got my burgundy jester early in my Spyderco collecting. Funny thing though, I got it off the bay, and the description just said "Spyderco knife with burgundy handle. No reference to name, and pictures had NOTHING but the knife in them, so I had no feel for the size. I was expecting a knife maybe the size of a Delica. Boy was I surprised when it arrived! But I found that I really like it, and the micarta version is pretty rare now.

I chose a G10 manbug over searching out a Jester. I think I found a Jester for around the same price but I think the bolster on the manbug swayed me.

I believe that a lot of love of Jester out there. You can judge this by how fast sprint was sold. And it wasn't inexpensive. Worth every penny thou.
I carry grey jester on my key chain and really regret that I bought only one, when they were available.
And I know I can't be the only one who wants a BRG ZDP Jester :D
I want one, may be two. Certainly two if BRG will be G10 or micarta. Liners will be nice. We really need sprint.

I had the sprint but sold it. I prefer the ergos of the Manbug and the G-10 version is better looking too, IMO.
