I'm seeing this particular Kershaw doesnt get much "air time" around here. Well here is my mini-review, feel free to comment:
Appropriately named, this knife is meant for work. The finger grooves in the polymer handle make applying pressure for heavy cutting comfortable and safe. The wharcliffe type blade is set at such an angle to the handle that botrh slash and pull type cutting is optimal (to me anyway). The flipper type speed-safe is rightfully added to this knife for one handed operation. Closing it one handed is also pretty simple using the liner lock system
The combination of lightweight handle material and speed-safe mechanism makes for a really neat "lockup" sound. The clip is small but sturdy, and mounted high, so the knife rides low in the pocket.
So if you work with your hands, or qualify for one of Americas "Dirty Jobs" I highly recommend the Needs Work.
