any lowdown on this "PRESIDENT" ?

hey guys this came back my way from a fellow worker a few days ago. he got it off the bay a couple of years ago--------at my urging.

does anybody have any production dates? how many presidents are in this club? i cant find any info on these in any of my books or r-us site. thanks abunch, brady ----------oh yes--ser#0986

Brady,
I know of four of them. I believe they were does as a promotional set for American Express. There is that on, an SC507 with George Washington, a
SC506 (or is it SC206?) Barlow with Abraham Lincoln, and I believe an SC500 or SC508, not sure which, with Thomas Jefferson. I've only been able to get hold the George so far, but would like to gather up all four. I can't give you details right now about when they were released without doing a bit of digging through the Collectors-r-us website, which I can't do right now.

Dave, #SC500 is Jefferson per photo attached with original box. Presidential Scrimshaw Collection produced in 1984 by American Express in co operation with Schrade and the American Historical Foundation. 6,000 sets in 1984.History records that each of the 5 Presidents selected appreciated a good pocket knife.
