My Camelbak is getting worn out and the new ones are no longer Made in the USA. Are there any small backpacks out there that are "Made in the USA"

Look into Eagle Industries, Tactical Tailor, Kifaru, and London Bridge. They are all US made and worth a look. Also, they are all top notch makers!

Mystery Ranch, and I believe Eberlestock, in addition to those already mentioned.
Maxpedition label..."American Design: Made in Taiwan"

One had to watch the companies. Many of them jump off shore once they start doing well. Blackhawk did that years ago and I haven't bought anything from them since.

The ones I mentioned sell a lot to the military (maybe not Kifaru) so they make sure they are Berry Act compliant.

Mystery Ranch is the only place you should look. I have a couple of them, made in Bozeman, MT. Calling them the best is an understatement!!!

Camelbak still makes stuff in the US. We just got a shipment of sport and military items, and the military packs are labeled as Assembled in USA. The TriZip from them was designed by Mystery Ranch.

One of my sister's boyfriends abandoned a backpack here ages ago, and I've found it serviceable. More of a school type thing than probably what you're looking for. . .

The label says Phat Pak, by Jo Sews (Made in USA).

Google search turned up nil, so maybe they went under?

Vietnam(as were my Mountainsmith packs).

Forgot Redoxx. Made in USA. Expensive, and just a couple of rucksacks, but they make some nice luggage, carryons, smaller bags, pouches, duffels...stuff like that.

Another vote for Mystery Ranch. If you call them, sometimes you can get it customized. They are great to work with.
