Apart from carbon fiber and steel BG42, what changes have been made into a new sprint run military?

There is a partial nested liner on the non-lock side, unlike previous militaries, which only had the nested liner on the lock side. The finger choil and thumb rest jimping is different, also.

Why didn't they use the VG-10 steel with that Cobalt (radioactive?) in it? Does BG42 give you a higher Rockwell value?

This with radioactive Cobalt is a nonsense.
BG-42 in CF Millie has Rc 61. Satin polished blade.
Many experts consider BG-42 to be the best ingot steel.

I love the newer models with the opposing inlaid liner. Is this the only Military version with the dual liners?

cobalt is usually not radioactive and takes artifical means (an extra neutron(s) I think) to make it radioactive.
