any makers in the san francisco bay area?

hi im hoping to check out any local shops near me to get an idea on how to get started, are any of u guys near san jose or know of any makers near san jose?

There are a few, and I had a list, but I can't figure out where I put it...

i did check thta but i had a tough time navigating, all the searches are set up by maker names, not locations and it looks as if their forum are gathering some dust. i get the idea that there is not too much traffic thru there

BAKCA is a good place to start. There's usually a few knifemakers at each meeting.

You can also thumb through the Knives05 for the knifemaker listings at the back.
