Any makers wanna make me a knife?

It is an idea I have been knocking around in my head...basics are a 7' blade, 4" sharpened swedge, coffin handle, around 12" overall. Can talk specifics if interested.

You may wish to consider posting in the Knife Makers' Discussion Forums as well. Coul be a very cool knife. You may want to give some idea of budget and timing to help narrow things down.

Good advice from Roger.
Nice design. Integral construction would be a good option in my opinion.
 
I didn't think of an intergal straight off, but now that Kevin mentions it I recall a couple integral bowie-style blades that Burt Foster has done that were a real peach:

ok here it is ...its not a good photo like yours...the knife i made to destroy and test...it took 6 180 bends then i flattend it out on the anvil and cut rope with it 150 times
