Any military sprints out there at dealers anymore?

Anything still out there? I know the blue S90V is still at BBS but does anyone know of anything else?

Thanks

If you dig around you may find some of the Cruwear sprints languishing on a few dealers' shelves, but the reason they're still there is probably that they're overpriced. :(

I lucked up and found a dealer that still had a few Cruwear sprints left for 200 bucks. Its the 'House of Blades' out of Texas.

CPM Cruwear sounded like a great concept.

BTW, don't be afraid of the S30V Military. S30V is an astonishingly aggressive steel and IMO strangely easy to sharpen for something so resilient. Technicalities aside, S30V is at least as good as any other premium staninless steel, M390 and S90V included. That's why I didn't grossly overpay BentoBoxShop for a S90V Military. Their only real value is in collection.

I have to disagree about s30v being on the same level as m390 and s90v. No way its comparable. S30v is good, but not that good.

They're going for $170-180 on the big auction site. You can pay more over there if you want to, but you don't need to.

I also disagree. I have a few s30v blades. Hey are fine blades but don't touch the next tier IMHO

I think you guys are splitting hairs about these blade steels. I still can't get any of my knives sharper than the S30V on my PM2's, edges so keen that I can't imagine ever needing anything sharper. Very durable too.

I like s30v too. It's a great premium steel, but some of the newer stuff really eats it's lunch in edge retention. Now, do I need that in real world use? No, not at all, but the difference is there...and it's significant.
