Any more CPM-20CV knives on the horizon?

My EDC is and will always be a Benchmade. Unless something comes out that totally blows me away it's always going to be a Vector 496. I love the way it cuts, as well as everything else about the design. Maybe it's just the blade geometry and another metal would be indistinguishable. Anyway it would be great to see some other knives in CPM-20V to compare to the Vector. Hell I'd like a fixed blade version of the 496...

The 496 is my favorite knife too, I have plenty of others, but that's the one that always ends up in my pocket. Have you compared it to the 495? The 495 has the same stock thickness with a flat ground S30V blade, and it's an awesome slicer too. The 495 is even better, probably thanks to the high hollow grind and the 20CV steel.

There's several other 20CV options in their lineup, plus it's an option in the custom shop. I'm willing to bet we'll be seeing a lot more 20CV from Benchmade in the future.

Weird, I used the search on their website before and only found a couple, but now I searched for just "20CV" and got a bunch of other models I hadn't seen. Thanks!

I had done that too, I don't think their filters work that well. I had to search for a few other models I knew they had in 20CV in order for them to show up.

Just saw a dealer has a preorder for a 20CV/gray G10 bugout. That should be a winner for sure.

I liked the 495 but the combo of very strong omega springs and the jagged axis contact made it uncomfortable to use.
