My son and I just had a blast at knob Creek and is going to be a family tradition hence forth...I promised we would go every year...I dont want to wait a year! Whats next.

It is my understanding that Knob Creek is twice a year. Every April and October.

True, but it happens to fall on the weekend of a long planned Vegas trip. anything coming in august!

Is there mass consumption of alcohol and grilled meats in the evening to go along with the sale of knives during the day?

The Army pays me to shoot all manner of machine guns and to blow stuff up, but there's nothing like partying with my fellow HOGS  :D

I just looked at the Web site. The weapons and shooting don't hold much interest for me, however if I do make the trip I am definitely going to have to rent a FLAME THROWER!!!!

lets see..mapquest says its 4 hrs 20 mins from my house to the Indy fair grounds...GARANTEE I can do it in 3 and change looks good

the flame thrower was a couple hundy..being a former Paratrooper the machine guns are for the boy and the pleasure of watching him blast away...then wander back by the table and see if that knife is still there....

Couple Hundy!! What the flaming heck!?!?! Forget that!, $200.00?, we're talking INFI money here man!

Last year I took wife wife to one of the "HOTEXs" On Fort Benning where she was able to shoot the M4, M16A3, M249SAW, and the M240B machinegun. She's actually not bad with any of them, she was able to hit what she aimed at mostly. Although I forgot to tell her to yell "GET SOME!!! " as she was shooting the M240B. The best however, was when we were walking out and she saw the line for the M24 Sniper Rifle and said "Next time I want to shoot the sniper rifle thingy" too bad we never went to another one.

lets see it was 60 bucks to knock down fifty rounds out of the MG42 and you know the rate of fire that thing has...but watching my boy grin like that...hey ..priceless....he cant stop talking about even now...
