I know the Nessmuk pattern is old news, but I am bringing out a full size (8" overall) model in the very near future (near future as in I am heat treating it Friday). Is there still any interest in this knife?

I am a huge fan. I don't have one yet but I'm absolutely interested in a full sized one.

I've always been interested and after meetin' this fella:

you could say my interest is peaked :)

Love the Nessmuk pattern in all versions, shapes and sizes! Should be one in my near future. :)

I made the blade, and KYenglish did the handles.

I am really learning to love the JK Skinny-Muk - it hangs around on the counter and I use it when cooking, and I plan on a trip out to the woods with it soon.

Warrior posted a great thread in the Becker forum where he went out and chopped some wood, made a fire and cooked some sausage and pancakes on the trail - that sounds fun and the JK Nessmuck would be a great choice for a cutting tool to take along......

Guys, knock it off! I've got to get off the pot and let John know what I want really, really, soon before he runs out of materials or decides I'm all hot air. Don't go adding MORE models to the should I/can I list!

I've got a Nessmuck I love right now. I can only imagine John's being that much better. Ugh, woe is me, I'm never going to make up my mind so John can make up my knives...

I love the Nessmuk pattern. I think right now I have 6 different custom made ones. I think they make great knives in the kitchen and great knives for the outdoors. I prefer mine to be a full flat grind with either a flat ground edge or convex and I like the blade to fairly thin 1/8 inch or thinner. I would love to your take on one.

Nessmuks are awesome.
