Wondering if anyones heard new about any new axis flippers comming out? Really wish benchmade would make that a little less bulky but still keep the 3 inch blade. The combination of the axis lock and a flipper looks great but wish the 300-1 wasnt so bulky and heavy.

I'd love something like that too, but it's doubtful since BM just announced a bunch of new knives for 2105 (and none of them were flippers) in advance of the SHOT show. I think there is a very big desire out there for more 3" flippers and if Benchmade created some with either Axis or frame locks I'd sure be interested. In fact I happen to be carrying my 3" XM-18 flipper today.

The 300 Ball Axis Flipper in D2 was my first Benchmade purchase. I love the heft of this knife. Although, the blade could have been a tad longer. But, I do love the knife as a whole.

Me too man i love my xm 3". I think if they came out with a slimmer 3 inch flipper it would be a big hit. Maybe in the 3 oz range. The 300-1 looks so smooth with the axis lock but its just too bully and heavy for me. Which is why i wont buy it. Hopefully benchmade will come up with something in the near future. A mini grip flipper and a regular grip flipper i think would be a big hit. Throw in some black g10 and il take 2 of em.
