Hey Dexter. What is Benchmade offering us soon? I know of the 520, and I've heard a little about the 530. There is also talk that the Mini AFCK and Mini TSEK might be going to an axis lock. What do ya know?

Well, I haven't heard anything about the Mini AFCK and TSEKs being shod with the Axis, but it certainly is possible and would be a welcome addition to the line.

They've got the 175CBK Concealed Back Up boot knife/push dagger thing. Meant for LEO use as a backup weapon that is easily concealed yet easily deployed should it be needed.

The 3100 automatic - cute little jumper based on the 310. It has a kicker spring and a 154CM blade. IIRC the handle frame is SS instead of ti.

And I was privy to some info that is classified [for now] concerning the next plateau for the Axis Lock. This new development will allow Benchmade to use the Axis in a super-tough built knife. Greg Mooney had a proto in his pocket at the show and showed it to me...pretty cool! More info on this later.

They also added a tanto blade shape to the Nimravus line

That's about it off the top of my noggin!

They did come out with a 940TI-01 Osborne limited edition. Which is a has a two tone titanium handle with a high polishind strait clip point d2 blade. Not really brand new as in it came out last week, but thought you might wanna know. Really awesome looking knife!

The Benchmade I am most looking forward to is the collaboration with N.B. :D

The only thing that the CBK and KZ share is that they are of push dagger type designs. The CBK is an in-house design.

Hmmkay... Thanks, Dex.
Looking forward to it anyway, gotta love push daggers.

Dex,

Did this happen to come out yet and I just missed it?

Thanks,

and how about that gold class striker? Looks pretty cool. A new push knife sounds good too, I was always bummed that I never managed to get my hands on a kz.

I wish they would redo the tsek, an axis lock and some d2 or s30v would be very nice especially in a mini.

I just really wish that Benchmade would make a plain old Styker with an Axis Lock. I contacted them a long time ago about this, and they said there wasn't a market for it.
