I'm still waiting for my kydex sheath for my 42 from 1SKS. I hope I am wrong but based on past experience, the ideas are great but I'll believe it when I see it.

I will have more info on the Tachyon next week. The design is very much intact and we are on schedule for the price point and delivery of the prototypes by Blade Show.
The ad will show the basic outline but I want it to be VERY vauge to allow us to make changes without having a Amphibian type situation. The blade shape for the first run is very close to the ad layout.
Of course I will post pics when I get my hands on one but it will be VERY close to the wire and perhaps so close that even I may not see one until the Blade Show.
I want the knife to have all the classic lines of a butterfly knife but also stand out enough so that it is visually distinct from anything that has ever been made before.

Thanks for the update Mike. I've been thinking about the use of detents, like in the charging handle of my HALO II, and can't imagine a neater way of keeping the latch out of the way of the blade/handles! Too bad I won't be in Atlanta in a couple of weeks......
