Any news from SHOT??

I remember Mr.Becker saying we will have to wait until after SHOT and what not, anyone have any news as to what was there Becker wise?
 
Yeah, I had already seen the bit on woodsmonkey.
But what about new Beckers (especially the Machax II) ??
Inquiring minds want to know.....

Hey Guys....

I had hoped to give you all a bunch of news about BECKER stuff as well as a rundown on neat goodies I found that I could not live without at the world's greatest toy show....Oh well..We were swamped and I got to see very little....Thankfully my friends Chris and Anne Reeve and Bill Harsey were only a couple of booths away and I scored one of Bill's new designs, the Professional Soldier neck knife....Nice design...very clean, very useful and flawlessly executed......Chris has also come up with a very interesting chefs knife which I am privileged to be doing a bit of testing on...VERY interesting indeed.......I also had a great time harrassing the RAT crew who had Mr. Dangerous Places, Bob Pelton in tow with the lovely Tara trying to keep them all in line.....Hopeless of course but fun to watch....
I recieved a lovely PINK!!!! Izula and scored an RC 3, both deserve high praise....Shon Rowen is certainly doing a great job manufacturing these outstanding designs.......

From a business standpoint it was an excellent show and I had a bunch of fun signing BK13 REMORAs (in all about 300 of them) and got to meet a bunch of folks and as usual my only regret is not being able to get to know people better at these things...Garrett and Joezilla, Jim Knowka, Dave Skomra and Bro Hoffman had breakfast with one half of the only known destroyer of a BECKER TACTUL.... It was A TEAM effort requiring a combined total of approx. 540 pounds of law enforcement similtaneously pulling and lunging on the TACTUL opening a jail cell door....The TACTUL lasted long enough to enable lesser tools to finish the job and so impressed our correspondent that he had a replacement custom built (this was post Camillus and pre Ka-Bar).......Thanks, Lewis for a great story, well told....BTW we did replace his TACTUL under warranty and we DO hope he sends the pictures.......

There were a bunch of discussions on NEW BECKER stuff and they are in many cases ongoing...I promise to keep you updated on all of it and I can share with you immediately that you all are gonna love the new aftermarket Micarta handles....I try to make it a point to use stock knives when I am out and about.....BUT these are just too damn cool....The drawings for the Micarta scales for the NECKER are looking good and we should see samples soon.......The new Small handle Beckers have been moved up to be mfg. this year and I am Very excited about that and after you get a gander I think you will be too...There are several other projects in the works which I hope to have some resolution on this week and will let you guys know when I can....Thanks for your interest and also many thanks for your patience.....

I've never been known for my patience but I know the knives will be worth the wait. A micarta scaled necker is an automatic purchase in my book. Ethan, give us a heads up when it comes out. I'll be waiting in line.
