I was just wondering if Camillus released any new knives at the SHOT show

Saw the Extreme BK-7. It was mirror polished and looked good. Did not ask any questions though. Figure Camillus will let us know when and how much.

On another note stopped by the Ontario booth and saw the Hossum prototypes that will be out sometime this year. Also S30V. They told me prices are undetermined at this time. They also looked good and it should be a good selection and competition for consumers. Glad to see 2 manufacturers are moving foward with production S30V blades.

Also stopped by the Mandalay Bay knife show. Didn't buy anything because by the time I got there an hour after opening the blades I wanted were already sold. Many custom makers are still using 440C and ATS 134/154CM. Nice execution but I want S30V or 3V blades or forged blades for my future buys of custom knives. Too bad many makers aren't keeping up IMHO.

As far as I remember the handles were quite a bit improved over the current line. I would have taken pics, but SHOT show rules says pics not allowed and they had camera cops roaming the aisles. Did see some people taking pics of people, but otherwise not.
